The outer diameter of CSB-EPB plastic plain bearings is designed to have a positive tolerance and achieve an interference fit with standard H7 mounting holes. The application of sufficient pressing force during installation can ensure that the bearings will not separate from their mountings during use. Although EPB plastic plain bearings have an outside chamfer intended to guide the bearings and prevent damage to the bearings during installation, the entrance to the mounting holes should also have a 1-2.5 mm * 25° chamfer to avoid damage to the outer surface of the plastic plain bearings. We further ensure that EPB plastic plain bearings have a standard tolerance after they are pressed into place.
The use of adhesives is not necessary during the installation of CSB-EPB plastic plain bearings. However, if the actual operating temperature exceeds a bearing's safe use temperature, a special adhesive is needed to secure the bearing. Following installation, the standard inner hole tolerance of CSB-EPB plastic plain bearings is E10, and the mating shaft tolerance is h9.
